About Moel

At Moel, we create home essentials designed for comfort, safety, and everyday ease.

We founded Moel in 2019 with the intention of making products for the home that feel thoughtful, reliable, and beautifully made. Our founder, Mia Antunović, turned a passion for cooking, entertaining, and interior design into Croatia’s first soy candle line created with a strong focus on quality, clean ingredients, and aesthetics. From the beginning, our customers trusted us not only for our products, but for our attention to detail and our customer service.

As our community grew, so did our vision. We expanded beyond candles and began shaping a complete home experience. Today, we create bedding, table linen, and home decor pieces that support better rest, safer living, and spaces that feel calm and personal.

That is why all our bed linen is made exclusively from 100% cotton sateen. Cotton sateen is known for its smooth surface, breathable structure, and soft feel against the skin. This weaving method creates bed sheets that are comfortable, durable, and suitable for year round use.

Our collection includes duvet covers, pillowcases, fitted sheets, and flat sheets designed to work together effortlessly. If you are searching for comfortable bed sheets, cotton sateen bedding, or hotel quality bedding for everyday life, our products are made with exactly that purpose in mind.

 

Cotton Sateen Bed Sheets That Last

We believe quality should be measurable and long lasting.

All our textiles are produced in partnership with a European fabric factory with nearly one hundred years of experience in textile manufacturing. This long standing expertise ensures consistent fabric quality, reliable performance, and impeccable finishing.

We use high quality combed cotton and eco friendly dyes with proven durability. All fabrics are tested for washing at temperatures up to 95 degrees Celsius and are designed for frequent use in real homes.

Our bed linen remains stable after:
• up to 250 washing cycles

Our table linen remains stable after:
• up to 150 washing cycles

This is bedding designed to stay soft, breathable, and beautiful over time.

 

Safe, Certified, and Skin Friendly Materials

All Moel textiles meet strict European standards for health and safety.

Our fabrics are anti allergy, made from natural materials, and suitable for sensitive skin. Every textile product is tested and certified according to OEKO TEX Standard 100 and TTF standards, and evaluated under the RAL GZ 992 quality control system.

Testing includes strength reduction, color stability, whiteness, resistance to damage, and visual consistency after repeated washing and ironing. This ensures bed sheets and table linen you can trust in your home.

 

Sustainable Home Textiles and Responsible Production

We care about how our products are made and what they come into contact with in your home.

All Moel products are sustainably produced, cruelty free, and made using safe production processes. We use recycled and recyclable materials in our packaging and encourage you to reuse wherever possible or thoughtfully recycle when the time comes.

Our goal is to create home textiles that are safe for your skin, your space, and the environment.

 

Natural Soy Candles for a Clean Home Environment

Our soy candles are where Moel began, and they remain an important part of our collection.

Each candle is hand poured using 100 percent soy wax and scented oils that are phthalate free, vegan, cruelty free, and biodegradable. Soy wax is a natural vegetable wax made from renewable sources and is known for clean burning and reduced soot compared to paraffin.

Research has shown that paraffin wax can negatively affect indoor air quality and aggravate respiratory sensitivities, while soy wax offers a cleaner alternative. Soy candles also burn 25 to 50 percent longer than paraffin candles, making them a long lasting and practical choice.

Both the wax and fragrance oils are manufactured in Europe and produced under strict quality control procedures, meeting all safety certifications.
